Job Description

Clerk, Inventory/Material Control Associate 
The Inventory/Material Control Clerk is responsible for ensuring the proper processing of incoming shipments of products needed for the aerospace build. They will also be responsible for accurately counting and maintaining count levels for specified products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update required inventory levels for goods, products, and materials for a specific, assigned area
  • Basic understanding of processes and procedures for assigned area
  • Pick, kit, and deliver any work orders submitted for assigned area
  • Conduct quantity checks on stored inventory to comply with company standards
  • Perform clerical functions such as answering calls, entering data into computers, and helping customers as needed
  • Monitor and document inventory losses
  • Prepare relevant reports for supervisors
  • Understand and complete basic SAP and MES transactions
  • May be required to train team members on a specific area
  • Other duties as assigned

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • No previous experience required
    • Strong organization skills
    • Ability to work independently and learn on the job
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must read, write, and speak English
    • Time management skills
    • Critical thinking skills
