Drywall Mechanic

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Mechanic with a strong background in metal framing, drywall hanging, and finishing. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of verifiable construction experience, the ability to read and follow blueprints, and must own the tools necessary for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install metal framing studs.

• Hang, tape, and finish drywall to meet project specifications.

• Perform patching, sanding, and texturing as needed.

• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards on all job sites.

• Collaborate with other trades and construction teams to complete projects on schedule.

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verifiable work history in drywall and construction.

• Skilled in metal framing, drywall hanging, and finishing.

• Must have personal tools required for the trade.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Reliable transportation to travel to various job sites in Broward County, FL.

• Ability to lift, carry, and work with materials safely.
