Construction Foreman – Carpentry Experience Required

Blue Collar Services is hiring an experienced Construction Foreman with a strong carpentry background to supervise a small construction crew on commercial projects.

The Construction Foreman will oversee teams of five or fewer workers, coordinate daily jobsite activities, enforce safety requirements, and perform carpentry and other miscellaneous construction tasks as needed. This position reports directly to the Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a small construction crew.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor employee productivity.
• Enforce jobsite safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform safety-related carpentry work.
• Complete general carpentry, punch-out, and miscellaneous construction tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with the Site Manager.
• Communicate project progress, delays, and staffing needs.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Address jobsite issues and provide leadership to crew members.

Qualifications

• Carpentry experience is required.
• Minimum of two years of construction management, foreman, or supervisory experience.
• Commercial construction experience is preferred.
• Experience supervising construction laborers or skilled tradespeople.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to report to assigned jobsites on time.

Compensation

• $23–$27 per hour, based on experience.
• Weekly pay.
