Pay: $39 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Trainer with a strong background in aircraft structures, maintenance, and aerospace manufacturing. This position will be responsible for training and mentoring entry-level aerospace mechanics and inspectors in both classroom and hands-on environments.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and train classes of approximately 15 trainees or employees
• Develop training materials, PowerPoints, tests, visual aids, and plate tests
• Conduct classroom and hands-on aerospace training
• Teach aerospace maintenance procedures, inspection techniques, and safety standards
• Train employees on specialized aerospace tools and equipment
• Evaluate trainee performance through practical exams and assessments
• Interpret blueprints and product specifications
• Drill, rivet, fit, countersink, trim, grind, deburr, and inspect aircraft sheet metal components
• Work with aluminum and stainless steel materials
• Maintain accurate training records and reports
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with aerospace industry standards

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of aerospace industry experience
• Strong heavy structures sheet metal experience preferred
• Experience training or mentoring employees is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and aerospace specifications
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment
